Avete un Sony Vaio Fit 11A? Bene, sta circolando da ieri la notizia di un problema con i computer di questa serie. In America ci ha pensato anche PCWorld ad avvertire gli utenti.

If you are one of the approximately 500 people in the U.S. using the Sony Vaio Fit 11A, you’ll want to stop using that PC immediately. On Friday, the Japan-based electronics maker said the new Vaio convertible laptop was at risk of overheating and catching fire due to a faulty battery. From Sony’s announcement: “Please immediately discontinue use, shut down and unplug the PC. We are currently identifying affected PCs by serial numbers and developing a program to repair or replace the affected PCs at no charge, or to refund the purchase price for the affected PCs”.

Tanti in Italia stanno rilanciando la notizia, ma molti da quel che ho visto la stanno rilanciando male.  Come da pagina della Sony, non tutti i Vaio Fit 11A sono da ritenersi a rischio, ma solo quelli che riportano il seriale SVFN1XXXX! La stessa Sony spiega come fare, e potete trovare tutto qui!

Mi raccomando ragazzi, fate ben attenzione e non temete di andare dal vostro rivenditore più vicino. Controllate attentamente il vostro numero di prodotto!
