Gli squali pescati con cani e gatti, che bestiario!
Un blog animalista con relativa paginetta Facebook ha pubblicato ieri una notizia (vecchia di anni) riguardante l’utilizzo di cani e gatti (vivi e morti) come esche per squali. La notizia è di quelle da far accapponare la pelle, povere bestie… dai, firmiamo la petizione! Peccato che sia disinformazione bella e buona. Non sto dicendo che sia una totale bufala, vi sono stati ben TRE CASI tra il 2003 e il 2005 (anche se uno risultò un falso allarme), in tutti e tre i casi le bestie comunque erano state recuperate dal bordo di una strada già morte, e usate come economiche esche.
Questo non vuol giustificare la pratica, anzi, ovviamente la condanniamo anche noi, però tre casi (anzi due) in tre anni non ne fanno un evento mediatico di cui parlare, ma solo un evento criminoso da punire… E la punizione c’è stata, il governo francese è intervenuto per punire i due colpevoli. Bene, la cosa si sarebbe dovuta chiudere lì, e invece (anche per colpa/merito) di alcuni animalisti che hanno realizzato un video (falso) a riguardo, la notizia dal lontano 2005 continua a circolare, e ogni anno ci cascano in tanti. IMHO sminuendo la causa animalista, perché se è dimostrabile che le immagini raccapriccianti del video non sono collegate a Reunion dopo averlo visto mi sento di questionare anche altre notizie dal sito animalista… e questo è male per la loro causa!
Comunque si sappia, il cane “all’amo” che si vede nel video è vittima di un incidente, non è un cane usato per pescare squali… ma solo un cane curioso che si è infilzato all’amo da solo, e subito dopo è stato salvato dai veterinari a cui è stato portato!
